The French jewelry brand GEMMYO arrives for the first time in Japan

In 12 years since its launch, Gemio has established itself as a jewelry brand appreciated by Parisians.

Gemio's 100% Made in France know-how, attention to detail, warm welcome and fair prices attract a French clientele far removed from the big brands targeting the Chinese and Korean clientele that I do.

Building on this success in France and Europe, Gemio is now turning to Japan, a country with which it has maintained close ties since its creation. To begin this new stage, the company's founders will travel to Tokyo in October for a week of meetings with journalists and key opinion leaders.

“Gemio was born from a love story.

When Sharif asked me to marry him, we decided to choose an engagement ring together.

Unfortunately, this moment was disappointing.

Some of the jewelry stores I visited were cold, discouraging, or just plain old-fashioned. We couldn’t relate to the brand narrative or the price of the product.

Our dream was to create a jewelry store that was rigorous in its know-how and quality, but with a warm approach. Jewelry that fits the times without being pretentious. A sincere and smiling conversation. In other words, we are a house proud of its own creations, while being able to present them in a modern way, while being close to people.

Meeting held in Tokyo on October 18

The founders of Gemio, Pauline Regnaud and Sharif Debs, will take advantage of this visit to Japan to present the house in preview on Wednesday, October 18, by inviting journalists and local celebrities.
